To access physiotherapy services through your NDIS plan, you need to ensure that your plan includes funding for "Therapy Supports" under the "Capacity Building" category. When your plan is being developed or reviewed, discuss with your NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) about the physiotherapy services you need. This could include treatments for pain management, mobility issues, strength-building exercises, or post-injury rehabilitation.
Once your plan is approved and you have funding for physiotherapy, you can choose a registered NDIS physiotherapist. They will be able to bill your NDIS plan directly for services, meaning you don’t have to pay upfront, but make sure you check the NDIS price guide to ensure the provider’s rates align with your funding.

If you run out of funding for physiotherapy before your plan is reviewed, you have a few options. First, check with your physiotherapist to see if they can continue to support you through other funding categories, such as "Improved Daily Living" or "Capacity Building," which might be used for related services.
You can also request a plan review from the NDIS. If your physiotherapy needs are ongoing and essential to achieving your goals, the NDIS may approve additional funding or even bring forward your next plan review. It’s always a good idea to keep track of your sessions and funding usage so you can stay proactive and reach out to your NDIS planner or support coordinator early if you anticipate running out of funding.
Additionally, if you’re unable to get more funding through the NDIS, some physiotherapists may offer payment plans or discount options, so it's worth discussing payment options with them.

The frequency of your physiotherapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and the goals outlined in your NDIS plan. For example, if you’re recovering from an injury or surgery, you may need to see your physiotherapist more regularly in the early stages to build strength and improve mobility. On the other hand, if you’re focusing on long-term management of a condition, you might only need sessions every few weeks or even months.
Your physiotherapist will work with you to determine a treatment schedule that’s right for your goals and progress. Some participants might start with weekly sessions and reduce the frequency as they meet milestones, while others may benefit from ongoing support.
It’s important to discuss with your physiotherapist how often you should be seeing them based on your current condition and goals, and to review this periodically to ensure it still aligns with your NDIS funding and overall health plan.

Yes! We accept private health funds for our private physiotherapy clients

To receive a medicare rebate you must be a private client have have been provided an Extended Primary Care (EPC) Plan by your GP. Please bring a copy of this to your appointment - generally this states the condition is chronic and physiotherapy is listed as the recommended treatment to manage your condition.
We will require you to make the full payment at the time of consultation, and can do an on-the-spot rebate if you bring an eftpos card with you!

Currently we do not have clinic rooms and are exclusively a mobile service. Stay tuned… we plan on providing an on-site service soon!

Due to the mobile nature of our service, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. This allows us to fill your spot with another appointment. Late cancellations will be afforded a warning for the first time, after which the full appointment fee will be charged as a cancellation fee. We hope that you understand our reasoning and thank you for your consideration
